English

Today i want to talk about Dragon's Crown a game available for Ps3 and Psvita, classical Beat-'Em-Up with horizontal scroll developed by Atlus, and came out on month ago in Europe, here i will speak of Psvita version, the one that i have

official trailer E3 2013

The game as already said is a Beat-'Em-Up, a classic genre more like some old immortal games (Golden Axe, Final Fight, Double Dragon ...), but with a fantasy story and environment is incluede a RPG component, done using 6 different classes, each one with different attacks and skills, unlockable and upgradable with the level up and evolution of game.
example of skill selection
As said we can play one of following classes/races Elf, Amazon, Fighter, Sorceress, Wizard, Dwarf, with fixed aspects not customizable, but character design is really good (maybe a bit exuberant in some points), with a lot great and well drawn wallpapers, mainly graphic is well developed and really good, never the same when indie dungeons, with a lot of fine visual effects, a smooth movement inside various levels and an accetable time of loading when move across zones.
Over the physical appearance, the classes differs for some skills and attacks, that are unlockable levelling up or upgradable in the same way, also every class have a common pool of skill, there is also a thief not playable, that will follow us helping to open chests or doors, giving command by touch screen (of course only in Psvita).
Equipment will change levelling up but also is different across classes, there are exlusive items or shared items, that we can get inside dungeons or buy/sell in city shop, also items have a durability value that obliges us by time to time repair it at the shop.

Music are good, in fantasy style and make the game more enjoyable, also inside the game there i a narrator voice (that is possible to disable), that will follow us givings tips or explain events of the story, only available in english language.
Is possible to play tha game in solo, with max 3 character controlled by AI, or multiplayer mode online or ad hoc with max 4 players, this improve the longevity of the game.
In conclusion is a good title, only have as bad aspect the genre of game, maybe exclusive for some players, and the restriction on customizable, if we avoid this we get a lot of fun, also attached with game there is an illustration book with pictures and artwork (i am not sure if still available now), and of course is a "must have" game for all fans of genre because that are not many like this at the moment.
